This is a remote-controlled substation device used for the time-limited forwarding method that enables the separation and reduction of power outage sections during distribution line accidents, as well as the transmission of power to healthy outage sections.

In general, high-voltage distribution lines are equipped with multiple high-voltage automatic sectionalizers (hereinafter referred to as sectionalizers) along the route, and a time-delayed transfer method is adopted to enable the separation and reduction of outage sections during distribution line accidents and to allow power transmission to healthy outage sections. This device is a remote-controlled substation device used in combination with these sectionalizers.

■□■Features■□■ ■This device is used in combination with a manual switch that has a built-in ground fault direction detector. ■In the event of a ground fault accident occurring on the distribution line, this device determines which direction (power side or load side) the ground fault is occurring from the installation point of the device and transmits that information to the business office via remote monitoring. ■By installing this device, it becomes possible to grasp the ground fault direction based on the installation point, which reduces the scope of accident investigation, thereby facilitating labor-saving in accident recovery and simultaneously shortening power outage time. ■The device itself is also equipped with a ground fault direction indicator (MagSign), allowing for visibility of the ground fault direction from the ground on-site. ■Since the device is equipped with a backup battery, it can transmit accident information to the business office even during a power outage caused by an accident.

By using it in combination with high-voltage automatic circuit breakers and high-voltage ground fault direction indicators, it is possible to separate the fault point and reduce the scope of power outages on distribution lines where intermittent ground fault incidents and instantaneous ground fault incidents occur repeatedly without operating the feeder circuit breaker. Since it can be used with high-voltage automatic sectionalizers, there is no need for special pole-mounted reclosing protection devices (recloser high-voltage devices). Additionally, due to its small and lightweight design, it is easy to relocate and install along with portable high-voltage ground fault indicators.
